"I am overawed at the creation"

My particular passion is land close to water. My joy comes from my visual observations and my participation in both. These broken fragments show archetypal nature—ancient and also in this moment.

Life is fleeting but these bronzes travel along for a while through time.

Inspiration from the Landscape

My inspiration has come from the landscape of South Brighton where I have lived for the past 30 years or so. It is my hope that the artwork can point to the error of our current path on a local level.

The strong wind that blows at small towns of back country South Island—something like that. Stays of back country South Island.

Through my work, I seek to capture the essence of these powerful natural forces and the timeless symbols that connect us to our environment and each other.
